On Oct. 16, 2010, Jim hosted a Coot-builder's meeting at the home of EAA Chapter 838 in Racine, WI.

This chapter has an amazingly well equiped facility, courtesy of Sam Johnson (of Jonson Wax),

and they kindly helped Jim host the meeting. In the photo above, Bruce Buksyk (right) and I (left)

flank Jim in front of N431PH, at that time almost ready to fly. The installation of new brakes

over the winter should have put Jim's Coot in good shape for flying in 2011.
