Norville Pervier Coot Gallery

I took these 2 photos of the Woodcock Coot at Mike Walker's home in 2005.

Two years later,  Mike and I visited the new owner of N29DW, Norville Pervier.

By this time Norville had discovered serious wood rot in the upper spruce caps

of the 96 and 127 frames, in the outer sponsons, very critical for wing attachment.

This must have occurred during many years of outdoor storage in WA state.

I'm pleased to report that Norville is carefully replacing the affected bulkheads,

but I also ask Coot-owners to be sure to store their projects in a dry environment.
