Bill Schmidt's Coot Gallery

The upper 4 B&W photos were taken in the early 1970's in Bill's garage. I include them here

because Bill prefered to work with wood over aluminum, and he had the temerity to depart

from Molt's aluminum design and build the entire tail empennage from wood.

The bottom photo shows N17515 as it looks now, in its natural element.

Completed in 1979, it has been flown >300 hours, mostly in MN.

It is now owned by Clark Thompson in Rosharon, Texas.
