There is no part of Coot construction where precision is more crucial for level flight than

the assembly of the diagonal ribs in truss formation between the two spars, as shown here.

Note that Mitch has maintained tension between the spars with a blue strap until the glue cures.

The butt ends of the spars are solidly secured at the far wall.
