Here is a different perspective of the same scene, captured this time from near the bow.

Bill followed the plans closely, taking Molt's good advice to assemble the frames on a "jack"

made from long 2 X 4's with vertical up-rights for supporting each frame in the right position.

One advantage of this approach is that it's much easer to install metal linkages inside the hull

when it's open and accessible at chest height, compared with bending over the sides of a F/G hull.
